Valarie Ybarra worked as our night nanny from our child’s age of six weeks till he was 3 months, Oct.
2020. At the time she came on we were transitioning from another night specialist. Valarie was able to
come in assess our child’s needs and our needs as a family and encouraged us to do the right thing for
him and for us as a family. I had experienced PPD and I was struggling to ask for the help I needed.

She assessed the situation and told my self and my husband how to proceed to get our baby sleeping and
get me back on track, to feeling myself again. Our boy went from a poor sleeper to an excellent sleeper
with Valarie’s help. Before Valarie, he wouldn’t nap in his crib and when he did nap, they were short and
spiritic. After 1 week working with Valarie, he was taking naps in his crib for long periods and on a
schedule. He also was sleeping longer stretches at night. Valarie assessed our baby and let him guide us
on when he was ready to sleep through the night.

I recommend anyone having their first child or who has a history of PPD to work with Valarie. If you have
any questions, feel free to reach out to me directly.
